On Saturday evening the top seeded ‘01/'00 Pee Wees easily handled the New England Predators 11-2 in their Semifinal match. The Raptors opened up an early 3-0 lead before allowing the Predators to sneak back into the game and end the first period with only a 3-2 lead. It was all Raptors from there as they scored the next 8 goals. Kadyn Fennell lead all scorers with 4 goals and 1 assist while Zack Diamont had a hat trick for the Raptors. Other Raptor goal scorers were Henry Casciano (1-2-3), Jerome Bazile, Nick Luther, and Bill Van Walsum. Nick Melillo, Ryan Shea and Nick Siciliano were also credited with assists for the Raptors. The win advanced the Pee Wees to the Championship Game against the Valley Jr. Warriors. The Jr. Warriors defeated the New England Bulldogs 5-0 to qualify for the Championship Game.
On Sunday morning the Jr. Warriors scored two early goals to quickly go ahead 2-0 in the Championship finale. Diamont scored a late first period goal for the Raptors for a 2-1 score after one period. Key plays by defensemen Michael Mills and Kenny Mills along with some great saves by Raptors' goalie Dominic Schiappa kept the Jr. Warriors off the board the rest of the way. The Raptors added four more unanswered goals for the 5-2 final. Five different Raptors scored in the Championship contest; Diamont (1-2-3), Siyeon Lee (1-2-3), Zach Shaw, Casciano, and Fennell. Melillo and Siciliano were once again credited with assists for the Raptors.
The ‘01/'00 Pee Wee Raptors finished the season 10-1-1 with 66 goals scored and only 25 goals allowed on their way to defeating the Jr. Warriors 5-2 and capturing the 2012 Valley Spring League Pee Wee Championship.
